OXEON – Somewhere Far is nominated for an Edison Award in the category Extraordinary.

Jury report:
OXEON consists of two jazz musicians with classical roots: Dutch singer Sylvie Klijn and Swiss accordionist Lea Gasser. Playful and colorful, not afraid of gatekeepers, they cross genre boundaries and uniquely draw a musical landscape Somewhere Far in which everything seems possible. In addition to mainly their own songs, they add their own dimension to the work of Alessandro Scarlatti and César Franck.

The nomination was announced on dutch radiostation NPO klassiek.
